28th August was our VETS Friendship Day, attended by 80 members, and guests. A special mention to Gail Hillenberg who has been a long-time member of the Monday Vets and celebrated her 90th birthday during this week. Gail has had some health issues over the past 12 months and we wish her a healthy recovery and look forward to her and Nev returning to Monday Golf.

After 15 years playing with the Monday Vets Maureen Golding has decided to retire from Golf. Maureen has had a year of health issues which have finally exhausted her enthusiasm for golf.
