We have recently been informed of a new app called Defib Hero App, an app that provides real-time access to the locations of nearby Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs). Its user-friendly interface enables both professionals and bystanders to quickly locate the nearest AED, receive step-by-step instructions on how to use it, and even contact emergency services directly through the app. By bridging the gap between the onset of a cardiac event and the arrival of medical responders, the Defib Hero app plays a crucial role in improving response times and potentially saving lives in critical situations. The Defib Hero App also provides free CPR training and it shows where all of the defibrillators are located in our community.
With the Club having recently used a defibrillator in the workplace and having seen first hand how crucial they are in saving lives, we are passionate about this project and encourage all members to read the information below.
