Conquering Skin Cancer, in cinemas this December

With summer just around the corner, it is time to make sure we are being sun safe, with golfers at significantly higher risk of skin cancer.

Leading the sun safe message is Mike from Conquering Cancer who is the founder and filmmaker of Conquering Skin Cancer, in cinemas this December.

Conquering Skin Cancer follows the remarkable stories of famous Aussies and change-makers as they seek to conquer skin cancer, a preventable disease that impacts two in every three of us.

Featuring Hugh Jackman, Cate Campbell (Olympic Champion), Deborah Hutton, Costa Giorgiadis, Wayne ‘Rabbit’ Bartholomew (Surf Champion), and Australians of the Year Georgina Long, Richard Scolyer and Coffs Harbour Gold Club member Ray Ommundson.

Sessions are being used to educate the local community, host Q&A style events and fundraise for the cause.

After seeing an advance preview of the film Prof Mark Shackleton, Director of Oncology at The Alfred Hospital said: “FANTASTIC. A must-see for every Australian – young, old, and in between. This will save lives.”
