Congratulations to Matt Allan, marking 20 years as Head Golf Professional at Coffs Harbour Golf Club, on July 1st!
Matt is an integral part of the Club and is the driving force behind the excellent coaching, club fitting, clinics, demo days, equipment, driving range facilities and golf technology on offer at The Golf Centre.
Matt started his golf journey at Coffs Harbour Golf Club more than 40 years ago, completing his PGA Traineeship at the Club. He played on The Australasian tour for 4 years and was assistant PGA professional at the Eastern Golf Club in Melbourne, before starting as the owner/operator of The Golf Centre in 2004.
Matt has had over 30 years of teaching and fitting experience and was awarded the honour of “Golf Digest Top 50 Club Fitter” in Australia.
We are sure all our members will join us in agreeing we are so lucky to have someone of Matt’s calibre at the Club. Please give Matt a round of applause on this terrific achievement.
Matt is Dragons supporter, enjoys a beer and is an all-round great guy who many golf and team members are luck to also call a friend.
