Coffs Harbour Golf Club is looking for Chef/Cook to join our team! If you are passionate about food, flavour and presentation, we want to hear from you. We offer the flexibility of daytime shifts working in a great environment and an idyllic location.
About Us – Coffs Harbour Golf Club is the premier golf course on the Mid North Coast, presenting a stunning 27-hole championship course in the relaxing surrounds of the Coffs Coast. Our team share the same values; working hard to make our Club the very best it can be, while sharing a fun, friendly, family culture. Each member of our team strives to meet and exceed the expectations of our members and guests, going above and beyond to ensure they “experience the difference” at the Club. With recent renovations being undertaken throughout the Club and having hosted international and national golfing events, the Club is in an exciting growth stage and gaining a reputation as a prestigious golf club and course. It is a very exciting time to join our team.
Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Assisting in the food preparation process
- Cooking and preparing elements of high-quality dishes
- Assisting Head Chef
- Helping with deliveries and restocking
- Contributing to maintaining kitchen and food safety standards.
- Well versed in up to date WHS and Food Safety requirements.
- Communicate effectively with all members and staff.
- Demonstrate teamwork by co-operating and assisting.
- Meet all service standards.
- Flexible and caring approach to work.
- Commitment and passion
- Knowledge of food professional principles and practices.
- Knowledge of BOH systems, ordering and inventory.
- Efficient, reliable and able to meet deadlines
- Enjoy working with people
