Front of House Manager
Coffs Harbour Golf Club is looking for Front of House Manager to join our team!
About Us – Coffs Harbour Golf Club is the premier golf course on the Mid North Coast, presenting a stunning 27-hole championship course in the relaxing surrounds of the Coffs Coast. With recent renovations being undertaken throughout the Club and having hosted international and national golfing events, the Club is in an exciting growth stage and gaining a reputation as a prestigious golf club and course. About You – If you are hardworking, motivated, passionate about customer service, enthusiastic, have initiative and go above and beyond, we want to hear from you! As part of this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all Front of House including bar, cellar and catering facilities, stock management, staffing, rostering and working towards KPI’s. You will be managing a catering and bar team with the freedom and encouragement to make the role your own, we love motivated people who have new ideas! This is a hands-on role where you will always be doing something different; whether you are assisting with function set up or creating a new promotion, you will be managing a diverse range of tasks. This is a very non-typical hospitality role where you won’t be working until late at night, the Club closes before 9pm most week nights, only requiring a later close for functions. The role offers flexibility of shifts allowing you the work life balance needed for family and other commitments.
To be successful in this role you will need to:
- Be customer focused and passionate about delivering high quality service
- Be experienced with ordering and managing stock
- Have experience rostering staff effectively
- Proven ability to work within budgets
- Have a good experience of all bar and cellar operations
- Have strong leadership skills with proven success in leading, training and motivating a team
- Have a keen eye for detail
- Have good communication & interpersonal skills with proven success in being able to work with a diverse range of people and roles
- Be motivated and have the initiative to excel in your role while also being a team player and helping your team mates reach the Club’s common goals
- Hold current RSA and RCG Certifications

Head Mechanic
We have an exciting new opportunity for a Head Mechanic to join our Greens Team!
Coffs Harbour Golf Club boasts a 27-hole championship course that is in immaculate condition due to the hard work and experience of our Greenkeeping team. Rated as one of the premier country courses in Australia, this is an exciting time to join the Club with significant investment occurring into the implementation of our Master Plan. We offer a great work lifestyle balance, discounts on golf membership and meals and are a fun and friendly team.
Qualifications:
- Qualifications with a strong knowledge of diesel equipment repairs and maintenance
- Strong diagnostic skills
- Experience with hydraulic systems, auto electrics and small engines favourable
- Exceptional time management skills to deal with equipment breakdowns, minimising equipment down times
- Sound welding and fabrication skills
- Implement and manage equipment maintenance schedules and records
- Ability to work unsupervised in a prompt and professional manner
- Willingness to be proactive team member to continually enhance the Golf Course Management operation on a daily, weekly and yearly basis.
- Possess good communication skills
- Maintain stock levels and ensure a clean and safe work environment
- Ensure all mowers are set to a high standard of cut with regular on course monitoring of their performance.
- Experience with Turf equipment is desirable, but not essential
